Pick n Pay in Roodepoort In an innovative joint venture Atterbury Properties and Pick n Pay will create a R160 million flagship 10,000sqm next-generation ‘green’ store for the leading retailer.

World-class shopping will be provided in a ground-breaking ‘green’ setting. Atterbury assembled The Falls Pick n Pay site and secured its development rights. The Falls Pick n Pay will be developed on the site of a former driving range on Hendrik Potgieter Road in Little Falls, Roodepoort. Construction of the store began in January 2012. It’s scheduled to open before this year’s festive season.

Improved traffic flows are another benefit of The Falls Pick n Pay. The developers will invest a R10 million to upgrade to the surrounding road network.

Pick n Pay is only the first phase of this development, which has built in expansion potential of an added 10,000sqm retail and 15,000sqm offices. Expansion of The Falls will be demand driven, in line with retailer demands and consumer needs.
