Novartis – a world leader in healthcare – and global power group Cummins – open their new strategic South African premises in the burgeoning Waterfall mega development this month (June 2015). These two latest developments to be complete and open at Waterfall have a total development value of R285 million.
Construction is progressing apace at Waterfall as Atterbury rolls out the development of Southern Africa’s largest greenfield urban concept. Cummins’ new Southern Africa Regional Distribution Centre and Filtration Plant comprises 22,280m2 of cutting-edge space, which consolidates several of its manufacturing and warehouse plants into one efficient building. Project managed by Atterbury in Waterfall’s Commercial District, this strategically located, custom designed facility benefits Cummins and its stakeholders with greater parts availability, shorter lead times, lower end-to-end logistics costs and value-added logistics solutions.
