Bagatelle, Mall Of Mauritius Welcomes Its First Customers

Bagatelle – Mall of Mauritius, Mauritius’s first regional shopping centre, opened its doors on Thursday 29 September. This beautiful, much awaited mall, with its truly Mauritian historical and current aesthetics reflected in its architecture, commenced trading in a festive atmosphere with live music and Mauritians and visitors from all over the country eager to discover the island’s new shopping destination. 70% of the shopping center is fully operational. The shopping complex brings a superb mix of world-class international, South African and local Mauritian retail to Africa’s top-rated country. It will ultimately have 140 shops, six 3D cinemas, a big food court, two hypermarkets, Inter Mart and Pick n Pay.

The Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius will be officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam on the 19th October 2011.
