Atterbury’s association with the City Lodge Group commenced with the completion of the City Lodge, Lynnwood Bridge, in 2010.
City Lodge Hotel Waterfall City, opened its doors in December 2014, and the magnificent grounds of its 1.3ha Waterfall City Park will open in 2016.
The City Lodge Hotel in Waterfall City offers 149 bedrooms over five storeys with two meeting rooms, wi-fi throughout the building, a bar and a coffee shop. It opened in phases, with the first bedrooms made available in December and the rest opening in January 2015.
This hotel development is the first new hotel the group has developed in South Africa since 2010 and the second hotel that has been built for the City Lodge Hotel Group by Atterbury Property.
The hotel is in a prime location in Waterfall City, only 300 metres from the Allandale off-ramp on the N1, and convenient for the Gautrain station at Midrand.
City Lodge Hotel at Waterfall City is excellently positioned for business and leisure travellers.
Atterbury is also currently developing a City Lodge Hotel as part of the R1.4 billion Newtown Junction mixed-use development in the Johannesburg CBD.
