The Richmond Park Communal Property Association (RPCPA), which co-owns the Richmond Park property on behalf of community members, have chosen to honour deceased members of the first committee who lodged the original restitution claim in 1996. The naming of roads after these individuals demonstrates appreciation and recognition by the RPCPA of the hard work and dedication by the first committee towards the settlement of the land claim.

Juf Brink Crescent is named after “Juffrou” (Juf) Brink, a memorable and honoured teacher at Richmond Park. Henna Dolf Crescent is named after Johanna Adams, better known as Ma-Hanna or Henna Dolf, who was born in Richmond Park and died on 6  June 1996 in Atlantis at the age of 85. She was a midwife who assisted with the births of numerous babies in the area. Although she had 13 children (12 sons and one daughter) of her own, she cared for children who were abandoned or whose parents couldn’t  care for them. The First Pentecostal Church started in her house in the 60s. The road names are awaiting final approval from the mayor.
