After listening to an appeal for funding being answered by WeBuyCars during the Martin Bester show on Jacaranda FM’s Morning Angels segment, Atterbury Trust decided to amplify their initial R50 000 pledge with another R50 000 cash donation to fix the lift at Harmonie Oord. But it didn’t end there…

Good Morning Angels: Harmonie Old Age

Zahn Hulme, executive trustee of Atterbury Trust explains: “Atterbury identifies with the fantastic Jacaranda FM Morning Angels platform that connects people and companies who want to give to those in need. We do this at Atterbury Trust as well, so the fit is perfect. We all care for those less fortunate.”

Unbeknown to Harmonie Oord, even more good news was in store for them. Hulme explains: “One of our associates in other initiatives is Vibro Bricks, who also decided to donate a further R50 000 on top of the total of R100 000 from WeBuyCars and Atterbury Trust. Herman Marx from Vibro Bricks was kind enough to make another contribution to ensure the elderly from Harmonie Oord will have the use of a properly working lift from now on.”

In addition, during her radio interview Hulme asked other property owners and developers in the Pretoria region to consider donating to this wonderful cause too.

All in all it was a good morning of caring in practise for Harmonie Oord via the Jacaranda FM Good Morning Angels, WeBuyCars, Atterbury Trust and Vibro Bricks.
