How is work going?
Work is my safe space at the moment, a place where I can focus and be calm
How are you coping with lockdown?
I’m not enjoying shopping at all while wearing a mask. I’m frustrated that we can’t relax over weekends with family or friends and a couple of glasses of wine, but I am enjoying the company of my husband as he can’t go off and play golf, to his detriment of course!
What about working from home?
Today’s technology makes it relatively easy and comfortable to work from home however, with little monsters and no child minders it tends to be more challenging than effective.
What was your most valuable lesson and what are you going to keep from the experience?
People seem to have forgotten their love for each other and mankind. Social distancing seems to have taken away the hugs, love and kindness, even amongst family, and as a Christian, that is what Jesus was all about.
What is the first thing you did when we reach level 3?
Jogging at a more decent time which leans more towards the afternoon… and I’m also supporting local wine makers.
What’s keeping you sane?
Coming into work on the days I have a child minder, but also enjoying the time spent with my child and staying close to God’s word and His promises.
